Seed of Change and Covid 19

The Fund and the needs
We, at Seed of Change focus on supporting refugees, immigrants,  assisting low-income households, minority businesses, , Native Americans and Alaska Natives, religious and ethnic minorities, older adults, people with disabilities, and other underserved communities vulnerable to the physical health, psycho-social health and economic impacts of the pandemic.

Our goal is to help address the most pressing needs and medium- and long-term recovery from the effects of COVID-19 and build our communities’ capacity to withstand future shocks. CDP is working closely with industry experts and nongovernmental organizations to track both current and emergent needs.

Focus areas initially included supporting health care and other frontline workers, quarantined and especially marginalized individuals, and small businesses. We also help by supporting hygiene promotion activities, and community-based care.
